Shannon "fluting" one of the internal ribs.

Here is the left internal structure (front and rear spar) getting ready to attached the skin. Here you can start seeing it becoming something recognizable. VERY exciting.

Here we have the bottom side of the left horizontal stabilizer skin attached. Everything is coming together remarkabl well... all the holes line up and everything fits nice and snug.

Looks like an airplane part! Here we have the skin completely attached with clecos. This is a view looking in from the root to tip. Since the innermost ribs were not pre-punched, we now have to line these two ribs up and drill.

Here I am at about 11:30PM cleco'ing.

Here is the the right horizontal stabilizer put together just as we did on the left. Now we have to final drill all these holes to size and then take everything back apart to debur and dimple. Then we will head to the paint shop (most likely the garage) and prime everything before we can rivet the final assembly.

Here are both sides together. Looks like a horizontal stabilizer to me!!! Everything is coming together so beautifully - we're super excited.

Another angle with the two pieces put side-by-side.
