Fall 2004

I know this isn't exactly airplane pictures, but we had to put our project down for a while to update our ragged garage. Here are a few shots of before and after.

This was after we cleared all the walls off which had close to 3000 nails in it (or so it seemed) from over the years, poorly crafted shelves, and 1 lightbulb and an single outlet.

Here we start to insulate and put-up plywood.

Here's Dad helping out with this big project. Had it not been for him coming in all the way from Ohio, we would have probably set it ablaze.

Finished product! We now have the proper set-up for a workshop! Time to get back to airplanes.

Here's our heating element. We are thinking of running a gas line out to the garage for a gas-heater, but that won't be happening until the Spring thaw. Surprisingly, this heater is doing alright.

Here's the shop all set up stocked with airplane parts and all. We're much happier with our workspace and lighting.

A nice high shelf to store parts in the new shop.
