Here we have started assembling the verticle stablizer. This picture is after we cleco'd it together and final drilled.

Here Shannon is attaching the nose rib on the lower part of the Verical stab.

Here I am holding the final assembly after we cleco'd the skin on. Can you picture is flying through the air?! This is after we final drilled the skins.

I'm discovering that these pieces all start looking the same after a while: "Here is the horizontal stab spar deburred." "Here is the rudder spar deburred." "Here is the verticle stab spar deburred." So I decided not to get so picture-happy all the time. Don't worry though... I won't leave out anything exciting. :-) Here we have deburred, dimpled, primed, and riveted the verticle stab skeleton. Next to it is the primed skin ready to assemble.

As promised, here is a picture of the aft verticle stab spar with the spar doubler and rudder hinges all riveted together. Here you can see the lightening holes we drilled out to save a small amount of weight. Better to do now than regret later!!! They turned out pretty good, huh?
